Very new to gold hunting ,I have bought a gpx 500 second hand with ten hours on her and have a few extra aftermarket coils. I have not use her yet and have owned her for 2 years was wondering if I should mod her first as I have read some great reports about woodies changes .

« Last post by WesHawkins on February 14, 2019, 06:10:19 pm » It arrived this afternoon and I did some air tests using an 11 inch Detech ultra spiral wound mono indoors. All I can say is WOW. Super quiet. I use to have to use cancel inside or even near the house outside. The depth of a 1dwt was almost 12 inches. Variable gain and variable frequency will definitely be a plus. Soon as it stops raining I will get out in the field with it.
