GPZ 7000 Upgrades
The GPZ-7000 upgrades come in two levels:
• Level 1 - $2550 AUD Our first level upgrade is our bang-for-buck option where most every update is installed, excluding a few more fiddly and expensive components.
• Level 2 - $3500 AUD The second level upgrade is our top-of-the-line option where every update is installed, and no expense is spared.
The upgrades on the GPZ focus on lowering the noise floor of the circuit, which allows everything inside the machine to work better. The added benefit of this is that no extra controls are added, which means it’s going to be far more performant without you having to re-learn how to use the detector. The typical depth improvements are around 10-20% with outliers up to 35% deeper. Ground conditions can make this vary along with coil selection, so it’s best to watch some of the YouTube videos to see the before and after. The general concept of what we are doing is this: To enhance the performance of metal detectors across the board, we need to reduce the noise floor of the circuit. The detector is receiving various signals, including EMI, ground noise, target signal, and solar radiation etc. The machine itself generates internal noise, and all these noises are additive. By removing any noise, we can make the target signals more prominent, while the uncontrollable noises become more evident to the detectors’ internal algorithms, allowing them to be excluded. Much like trying to have a conversation in a car with lots of road/engine noise. Any of the noise that you can remove, will make understanding the conversation easier without having to yell.

Should you be from outside of Australia, please contact us before sending your detector, as if the package is not marked correctly, it may create slowdowns in customs.
