GPX-to-SD/GP Battery Adapter

This adapter connects your SD or GP series detector to our GPX battery system — so your older machine runs on the same battery as our current range.

We've moved to supplying one battery system across the board: the GPX series. Rather than build and stock a different battery for every detector, everything now runs on the one common battery. If you're on an SD or GP series machine, this small adapter is all you need to make the connection.

We'll be upfront: it does mean SD/GP owners pay a little more up front for the adapter. We haven't made that call lightly. Producing the older SD/GP batteries is more involved, and running that many different variants was becoming hard to manage. Standardising on the GPX battery lets us keep battery prices stable, hold better stock, and ship faster — rather than raising prices or having supply come and go. For the vast majority of our customers, that works out better.

And if you run more than one detector, there's a real bonus: one battery type now works across your whole kit, so there's nothing to juggle between machines.
