This Adapter allows you to connect the standard coils made for SD,GP and GPX(up to the 5000) to your SDC. 

This does not mean they will all work with the adapter though, we have tried many, and alot work, but, we have had some strange results with some of them. 

One of our customers sent us in the "truth table" from the experiments they did, which said that a 25" advantage coil was unusably noisey, which is strange because I had one working fine when we did our first tests. 

So, if you are looking to get this, we would say its only a good idea, if you already have a selection of coils and want to try some out on the SDC, we would not recommend getting this then buying coils only to find out the detector does not like them. 

Given the inconsistency we found with the 25" advantage, we would not even trust the table to be 100% correct for all SDC units, we cant be sure if the coils having a slightly different manufacturing tolerance is what made them unusable, or if SDC board inconsistencies is what caused the issue. 

This one got made with green heat shrink, it's what we had on hand, the color could be different.
