« on: September 18, 2012, 07:41:43 pm »
Just got the call my 4000 is ready ,  implanted with the latest upgrades and I have the perfect grounds to hit up!.In about 3 weeks I will return to some gold bearing grounds that had patches of highly mineralized soil which through the 4000 into a state of unreadable noise.I will post my report on return and a big thanks to Peter and his team for a quick turn around on my detector .Regards Cam

Since my 4000 has been upgraded with the front end gain I have found close to 70 grams. The new mod has pulled deeper nuggets on a patch that I previously thought was finished.

That is great!!  There is no such thing as a "worked out patch"

The new set of mods definitely pull more Gold from the ground.  We have been very busy doing upgrades on the GPX 5000 detectors to get them going deeper.. Seems to be proving itself out in the gold fields.
