Im not sure if Carbon coils is still in business making coils.  Still most manufacturers of coils are still making one huge mistake with the coil designs..

Hi Ron,

I bought one of the Detech 10 x 15 mono coils , it can pull a 14 gram at 16 inches in hot coil.  Nenad has them or Stinky Pete at Detech in Daisy hill in victoria.

For $340 they are a good light coil, i used it all day continuos swinging and it was easy ..

I have made some coils over the years, i wish that i still had them but other prospectors wanted to give them a go so if i ever get around to firing the vacuum former again i will make up some more.

G'day Spot,

if Ron has sold his detech 15" ultimate dd coil, i have one i'm thinking of selling. it's done about 10 hours work so its brand new, if you got good shoulders its a great coil. i bought it for some extreme ground where i've pulled some big nugs down deep where other coils just cant work very well even using enhance.
My shoulder can't handle this coil even after a full rebuild, let us know if you want it

Hey all , I was wondering if anyone out there has compared the 17x11 coiltec elite against the 17x13 Nf evolution with either a modded 45 or 5000 ? Would be interested to know whether coiltec elite is quieter. Cheers Herb.
