i am just about to head out on the first trip with a GP3000  with the full mods. Any tips on settings from people with one of these would be appreciated. i have a 14x11advantage mono.

Being new to this forum I thought I would share my experience with Peter Woodland. Some months ago I contacted him for some information & subsequently went looking for a "cheap" GP. I came across a couple on the net & emailed the link to each one to Peter. I settled on a GP3000 at a very good price & let Peter know I would be sending it along with payment. This was in amongst other emails asking questions I am sure he has heard a thousand times. I cannot thank him enough for his tolerance & assistance & I look forward to getting the GP3000 back ready to go.
By way of explanation, I had one of the first SD2000 to come out. Served time on the back order list etc. I did ok with it around Cue in WA but circumstances changed & I ended up selling it to Jack Lange, another gentleman, along with a Sovereign. I am now in Nth Qld close to retirement & I am raring to go again. I am fortunate that I bought the Gold & Ghost set when they first came out so I am now back into research in readiness.
