Should have the GPZ one coming soon.

Information on the new developments / New mods for the GPZ7000 Detectors.
« on: January 31, 2019, 08:11:47 pm »
I thought it was about time to get into upgrading the GPZ 7000 detectors, initial test indicates we can make the detector quieter, more sensitive and deeper, we should have video out during February.

New Detector design / Re: Any news?
« on: July 14, 2018, 03:10:01 pm »
There is some news, just recently we were granted our Chinese patent and now we are patented in every country. We had our hands tied as we now have legal protection in China if any fake makers start up, look at all the trouble the other detector makers have had over the years with China clones. Not long to go.

The mosfet that is used a voltage limiter in GPX detectors can now be upgraded to a 250 volt 9 amp mosfet, I tested the newer p channel mosfet and the detector is a little more stable and should never have this part fail again.

send Picture of board.

We managed to obtain better batteries and a new high capacity one that sticks to the side of the detector. Look on the products page.

Mods and Price list / Two very different prospecting techniques.

My goal has been to keep my detector quiet as a mouse when I go detecting so that I can hear the most tiny ground change that may be a deep target. Most prospectors detect this way but I came across a fellow that had his detector cranked up so high I thought that there is no way that he can find gold, then I had an education.
He was using a modded GPX5000 with the front gain nearly full and the back gain on 20.  I thought no way, this guy has lost his marbles but then he showed me a 16 oz nugget he got the day before, then he showed me the pictures on his phone and I was amazed.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone here

Hi Wes,

There is nothing to report so yes it is quiet on the forum.
There is much more happening in the lab, also we set up a gold exploration company with 1200 square kilometres in prime gold location.

It is so hot around the goldfields that most prospectors are sitting in their air conditioned rooms.

I have been experimenting in the lab.

Hi Wes,

I have no idea on who sells Detech in the US,

On the 7000 / 5000.  A part of the reason the 7000 gets more deeper small gold is the coil. You have to realise that the 7000 coil has three coils inside, the transmit coil is very small and puts a lot of concentrated energy straight down onto the small gold. If you do the side by side comparison with a 14” mono it is not fair, the correct way to do side by side is to use a 11” DD  or a 5”x 10” mono.  In the US as far as i know, the coil is not so hot and mineralised thus I cannot see why the 7000 would get more gold so it must be a coil winding size mismatch.

The 5000 can have its gain increased by a few component changes and changing the timing using the modified manual tuning can make the 5000 super sensitive to very tiny gold.

Hi Wes,

There is an update on new settings coming out in the Australian Gold Gem and Treasure magazine next month.

The frequency setting on the back lcd (manual tuning) has a very limited range, to give you an idea it moves this much  --- when we convert it to maximise the range it is --------------------------------------------------------------- and thus it allows getting similar gold like the SDC2300 and also allows working super hot ground with way less noise.

Matt from Ballarat in Victoria has been carrying out a lot of experiments with different frequency settings in enhance and fine gold and has been cleaning up the gold left by others.
Look for Matt Kelava on facebook and check out his videos.

Good work, The 7000 is good in some ground but not all ground..where the GP is fairly good in all ground after mods.

We have some Enhancement Fets coming out way in a couple of days, lots of testing on the sample devices. These will obtain near zero loss on the signal input side, extremely low capacitance of 28pf ci  22 co 3 tc  R on of less than 100 milli ohm at 5 amps. These fees are in die form, custom made for us. expensive little buggers.  The original standard fets do generate electron mobility noise in the  D-S conduction channel in most fets, also the channel can be modulated with fluctuation of the gate driver. This causes wide bandwidth noise and can obscure small signals.  We are working hard to overcome these issues. More Gold to you.
