I will also be posting info on how to do your own detector mods and repairs. I have uploaded to youtube a video about fixing some common faults with the GP3000 GP3500 and GP Extreme detectors. The first is how to rectify thermal instability and also how to fix a common problem of the detector going dead on you.

This is the Fairchild DO50 that is a common fault in Minelab

This is some gold that I recovered from a flogged out patch
at Creswick near Ballarat with a modded GP3000. The bits
range from 0.011 Gram up to 0.26 Gram for a total weight of
1.6 Grams. This area had been gone over by myself 8 months
ago with a standard GP3000 and obviously were beyond  the
detection capability of the standard detector..
